Ok, here's an anomaly for you Mr D

And the card in question belongs to Mr Pirate!

Ignoring the miscard (a mere hiccup in Palitoy terms!)
Clearly a newer card - it has the "Look Out For The Exciting Action Force Comic On Sale" blurb.
However, it has the early bubble style with the feet.

How do we explain this? I'm tempted to shrug and say"Palitoy QC..."

It's a left over bubble, and a left over card, for a left over figure.

They'd dropped down the back of Doris's work station, and she only found them one day when she dropped her packet of 'backy down there too.

That explanation seems viable to me?

That theory might be shot, another Space Force figure this time on a Dutch and French card with the early bubble..

Picked up Black Major on the first card..

I've 3 of the White star cards.. Are we agreed that due to the card back being regular that these came after the black star with the same text? These specific white stars seem harder to find..

It's the back card layout that's the key! The fronts and the bubbles are just the clue!

Ah okay, well the backs of all my white star cards with the same text as the black star all have the Commander offer on the opposite side to the black stars...

If these black stars with the July and August text are the first run and the white stars with the same text are the follow on then do you have a theory/place for the rest of cards released?
