My Collection of 'O' Ring figures-some old and new

Post by Davey Boy »

Hi everyone, im a newbie here so its time to show off my figures:

Image
The Red Shadows! These were recent purchases, I read the vacation in the shadows comic and was so impressed I got the figures for it, eBay being where I got them. I just had to have the Black Major and I really love the new red torches.

Image
Some old Action Force Friends

Image
X3 Versions of Fint, hes my all time favourite figure, as a kid I remember his file card as being born in Lincoln England. An English flint, hence the SA80 on the vintage standard figure. I just love the new figure in MTP camo.

Image
Crankcase and the striker, just had to hunt down and buy this vehicle, another flint version (bought from Belgium)

Image
Cobra Elite! love the new version of Firefly. I was never a fan of the original due to the head piece, I think the new one is just right and shows off the cobra sabotage expert off real good. Im a big Crimson guard fan too, I have x2 figures at moment.

Image
Dr Mindbender, Zombie and croc master. I always wanted crocmaster as a kid but never got him. When I started collecting again he was the first figure I got. Dr M and zombie I hope to do a dio storeyline on soon, a kinda messed up Mindbender experiment.

Image
Cobra Goons!!!!!

Image
The Iron Grenadiers ! im not an original Destro figure fan however the Iron Grenadier version I think is far better, a good concept worthy of its own dio story.

Image
Dreadnok command

Image
Dreadnok Thugs, we all know and love/hate these guys, ripper and buzzer are my originals.

Image
The newer dreadnoks..... I like Zanzibar and couldn't remember him from when I was a kid. I like the whole pirate background.

These are my O ring figs, ill show off my old school action force soon.

Thanks for looking, im hoping to start work on a Dr Mindbender/Zombie dio storyline soon (time permitting. I will also show off all my versions of Flint, hes cool.

A nice collection! I love the o ring era so much more than modern figures. I think it's a nostalgia thing!

Nice collection and welcome to the forum
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Very nice collection. I'm always pleased to see a croc master with his breathing tube :)

I was very lucky with this figure, as I bought it second hand from eBay, I didn't pay the Earth for it and it came immaculate with all accessories. I was really pleased as I never managed to get this fig as a kid. I'm just missing a breathing hose for my big boa fig though :-(

Good point. When I started collecting I made sure I got my old favourites in order first. Then I remembered some figures I didn't have as a child but really, really wanted!! Snow Job was the first of those I got, then Mutt and Junkyard. Why the hell didn't I get them at the time I'll never know!!!

Great collection :)
