I'm a new member here and I would like to take a few moments of your time to introduce myself. I've been an avid action force fan since I was knee high to Ronnie Corbett and came across this forum recently (much to my pleasant surprise) after unearthing one of my childhood figures in an old storage box. (It was the SAS captain

I'm late 30's, and live currently in the West Mids (I moved here two years ago from London to be with my missus)
Like most guys on here I was an avid collector of action force when I was a kid. Pocket money was for figures and birthday/xmas brought along all those vehicles/bases my meagre pocket money could not afford. Over time I had a huge collection of men/bases and vehicles. My favourite was the Z force followed by the SAS. I liked the Red Shadows too due to their crazy monsters like skeletron, Kraken and Muton. Along came the new action force along with names like Flint, Destro, Ripcord and Zartan.
Sadly when I was mid teens my collection went at car-boots and flea markets to raise money for cheeky pints and driving lessons save for a couple of prized figures I couldn't bear to part with.
Career took over and it wasn't long before action force was put to the back of my mind. Unlike StarWars which seemed to stay with me as i grew up due to new films, figures and merchandise, whereas action force seemed to fade away in the mid to late 1990's. No more cartoons, no more figure releases.......nothing.........until I opened an old storage box a few months ago and found Eagle!
I looked in a few more boxes and I found Z force captain, a British marine, Black Major, Snake Eyes, Flint, a cobra squaddie, Zartan and a two dreadnoks buzzer and ripper. I also found an sas frogman and a space force dude.
Finding these figures rekindled my interest. Over the last few months ive been hunting down my old favourite figures on a well known auction site and reading the old (and new) comics.
I aim to post some pictures of my newly started collection over the next few weeks. Thanks to the moderators for having me on board and I look forward to speaking to you all soon.
