Cardback Variants - The Hopper Matrices - Series 1
Cardback Variants - The Hopper Matrices - Series 1
Alright!
Here are the fruits of my labour for the great AF cardback matrix.
This is just a skeleton, and will need to be fleshed out.
Series One is much more straightforward than Series Two!
All this is on an Xl Spreadsheet, but I can't work out how to post that, so here it is as a screen print
I have identified three types of cardback:
A) English wording with English wording in the star (Collect Them All)
B) English wording with French and Dutch wording in the star (Collectionne les tous, Verzamel alle figuurtjes)
C) Spanish wording with Spanish Wording in the star (Collecionalos)
There may well be others, but I have not yet found them.
There are 15 figures on cardbacks (excluding Deep Sea Diver, Commander, US Paratrooper and Mountain and Arctic).
Now, over to you guys - all you MOC fiends, obsessives and general nutjobs!
Post here anything that's not on the list, and I can add it as and when, replacing the old screen print so the information is kept up to date.
Together, we can crack this!

its mind blowing stuff for sure!!
Any chance of you sharing these XL spreadsheets? They'd really help me put my collection into some perspective.

Blimey! So am I right in saying you're looking for a "yes" only if known to exist? Just checking before I get checking!
Series 2 is too much of a beast to be honest. There's stuff like the same twin languages but different ways around on the card (for some reason!). Different layouts that we never really got to th bottom of (early releases?).

Pm me your email address, I'll bounce them to you that way. There's no way of posting a table here.Coosbay_pirate wrote:Any chance of you sharing these XL spreadsheets? They'd really help me put my collection into some perspective.
Please mate. Or if you know of anything different, new language or layout for example.SteveD wrote:Blimey! So am I right in saying you're looking for a "yes" only if known to exist?
Also, could you give me the medal numbers from the back? And the numbers from behind the figs at the front? I'll put em in the other thread.
Cheers mate

That's quitting talk!SteveD wrote:Series 2 is too much of a beast to be honest.
Yeah, it really is a nightmare from what I can see. What I posted in the Series 2 thread is just a bare outline. There's so much more to do, even without the variants!
What different layouts? Sounds intriguing!

No married man could do this.

I just showed the missus - she laughed, bitterly, and reminded me how lucky I am!
