Treasure Trove!!!
Re: Treasure Trove!!!
To resurrect this thread, at the end of the month Vectis are supposed to be auctioning off some Palitoy employees hauls that they have. Its primarily mostly Action Man including the judo suit which is garnering a lot of attention but has anyone seen or heard if any Action Force is lurking out there?

. . . I know of one ex-Palitoy employee who has passed some items to Vectis. I know he had a lot of MOC and MIB Action Force, as well as Action Man, so perhaps you'll see those in the upcoming auction.

Re: Treasure Trove!!!
How does the charging process work? You put a bid in and pay 120% of what you bid to get the toy?

Re: Treasure Trove!!!
Was reading a similar thread on the Star Wars UK forum which mentioned that there was definitely Action Force stuff in the Palitoy auction, and possibly a prototype put in there to test the market.
On the subject of Vectis, I also found their post and packaging costs to be pretty steep as well.

Re: Treasure Trove!!!
My experience with Vectis was a combined creditcard/buyers fee of nearly 100% of the auction price and then they also charged approximately 20% on shipping compared to similar shipments from Bftb members. So your 120% is not far off

Re: Treasure Trove!!!
Tell me about it, I won a single lot over three weeks ago for £20 and it still hasn't been delivered and so far the charges (including P&P and premium) are £24. They are a joke to be honest, they are not customer focused and do what they want.

Some crazy prices!!
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?
