Babyjelly, unless you object I'll be adding the advert to the next issue of Red Dawn.

OK, HUGE file - this is the larger Bitmap version of the last page (Ironblood mask shot) without any dialogue

Good stuff , makes me think how much I'd love to see a Baron Ironblood origin story :baron2:

I've got an idea for a new comic strip, I'm going to write and rough storyboard it very soon. It's set in the months before the Red Shadows and Action Force show up, but will feature the phase 2 (Shadows/SAS) characters.

As part of it, the original Born in Blood strip will be slightly updated and expanded.

Looking forward to that already Malcolm :)
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Thanks. The problem with comic strips in general is the amount of time it takes to draw them, so any idea you have has to be short and sharp. Ironblood is a fascinating character to explore because you can dip into a moment of his psyche. With 'Born in Blood' it was about illustrating a short speech he might make to explain how he was. With this next one, it's about a single event which within itself is relatively minor, but gives some fairly instant character work. I have a short cliffhanger on page 4 or 5 so I'll do the first half and post it, then the second
