Tips & Tricks for selling on Ebay?

Post by stkhlmdk »

I never thought that it would come to this but I may have to unload some of my precious army items in order to fund "real life costs" :worried: so I could use some advice from those of you who has a store or has sold on Fee-bay. I know that its become buyers-market in terms of "hustling" sellers so I would love to get some tips on which countries should I leave out from my buyers list and is it best to start out on Ebay.co.uk or go Ebay.com to get the widest possible market?
Best Regards

Ah mate, you too??? Don't trust the Italians and most Belgiums! (Start the backlash now) the only problems I've EVER had with eBay/selling on forums has been with them and it's not a one off either!

Yeah, need to fund my aquarium project (900 liter with LED lighting etc, so far the bill is at £2000) and replacing our second car with a new Renault Zoe (electric car) :)

Thanks for the heads-up on those countries, I would of course like to sell most of it on forums like this but I dont think there are too many Hasbro-Joe collectors on here and YJ is already full of people selling off.

That should about do it. Any Euro variants seem to sell well in the US, Rene. If its a US version, you probably won't do well.
Let me tell you, Gunner La-De-Dah Graham, the British Army can fight anything! Intimate or not!

That's a BIG list. I may be interested in the Terrordrome, out of everything I've sold that is the only thing i really regret selling!

Yeah, most of these are US Joe vehicles but some of them are EU Action Force so might do okay. I hope to sell most of it within EU to keep cost of shipping down for the buyers but I first need to figure out how to sell on Ebay (tried to use their Sell option but got lost at shipping.....)

Honestly I think shipping will be way too high but I could try to check a few couriers ;)

I agree with Graham, stay away from the Italians and don't post to Brazil. Check the bad eBayer threads on all the forums.

I could be interested in some of the Vipers, Troopers, BATS and CGs. Drop me a line when you're ready.
