Convention Newbie
Hi,
I'm really interested in attending Roll Out Roll Call, but as someone who has never been to a convention before I'm not sure what to expect.
Can anyone let me know if its worth going and what normally goes on?
Cheers
Nick

Re: Convention Newbie
Hotel rooms full of toy stalls with a good blend of vintage and new toys stuff along with the con exclusives. Other rooms with cool guests whom were or are part of the industry that will talk to you one to one and sign stuff.
Along with interesting group talks and loads of mental punters dressed in costumes that like beer and toys.
That's pretty much the beauty of RORC in a nutshell and it was my first visit last year, recommended for sure.

But as it's held in Southampton we've yet to find one to make good on the threat!!Shaunyboy wrote:....and we sacrifice virgins.
It's brilliant mate - well worth a visit. Book in the hotel and do both days, as the nights in the pub are great fun! Panel presentations and guest speakers are generally brilliant, and a fantastic insight into the industry. Seriously recommended. I'd never done toy con before, but RORC is a fun weekend and no mistaking!!!

R.O.R.C. is masses of fun, I'd never attended this kind of before, yet within a couple of years I was participating in the Cosplay contest... something I'd thought I never do in a million years.
The coolest thing is meeting up with old friends, making new ones & just generally letting your hair down for a couple of days.

Thanks for all the responses, sounds too good to miss!
I've done a deal with the devil (aka the ex wife) and have now free'd up my weekend so I can attend.
See you there!

Would it be an idea to get some Action Force badges made so we know who's one of us or not as the case may be.
