Speaking of mis carded guns my Baron has borrowed Han Solo's smugglers blaster.. Is this one a common error? I possibly spotted one in Steve D's Baron collection posted previously.

That one is well known, it even appeared in Battle Action Force, it may well be that the first release Barons all had this.

I guess not a miscard then but a variant as you rightly point out the gun appeared in Battle Action Force.. and more likely the first round with the blaster as you state as Han was an earlier figure and then the Barron got an update with the Uzi later. Thanks for the info!
