Just noticed this.
One net is slightly larger than the other, and the holes in the weave of the net are slightly larger too.
Larger net measures 15 holes x 14 holes, the smaller 15 holes x 15 holes.
I'm not arguing a variant as such, more that there were differences in raw products that were needed at different times or different places.
I wonder if one net was supplied with the freebie Kraken and the other on the carded Kraken. Or is it just that there were two suppliers of netting for Palitoy.
Either way, interesting*.
(*usual caveats apply about the use of the word 'interesting')

Are you certain that they're both

Let me tell you, Gunner La-De-Dah Graham, the British Army can fight anything! Intimate or not!
Re: Kraken Nets!
The AF7 nets are larger - they measure 20 holes by 20 holes, with the holes being smaller, and the material is more plastic - a sort of nylon thread, rather than the cotton-like Kraken nets (which is similar to the grappling hook rope).Thundershot wrote:Are you certain that they're bothnets?

At least, that's what I have seen, though there could be different types out there.
Here are some photographs.
1) AF7 net, stretched.
2) AF7 net, with the two Kraken nets in comparison.
Bazinga indeed.
