How come this went for so much?

Post by Hankster »

Hi all. Returning to the site after a long absence! Good to see it's still up and running.

Anyway, I noticed that this lot http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JOB-LOT-OF-AC ... true&rt=nc

Went for a lot of money. I know there are a few rarer figures in there and loads of Shadows, but £147 seems a bit steep. What am I missing?

It only takes a couple of guys to bid silly amounts, that's the beauty of an auction.
Although I agree it is higher than I would expect it is still only a couple of pounds per figure.
I would like to get a closer look at the figure on the top left of the picture as I cannot work out what it is!
Not here for a long time, just here for a good time.

Very top left looks to be baron ironblood?? His chest logo is just obscured?

A lot in there that adds up - 6 cobra troopers that usually go for around £8 to £10. A small ready made army of shadows, three or four krakens. I can see how it went high, but again, top end of expected price.

It is indeed Travis, I just bought a short boot Minesweeper from him via ebay. He's selling the lot as far as I can tell.

Looking at the ebay listing in the original post, yeah, there is quite a bit in that lot that would sell well - 10 Red Shadows, some rarer figures, etc.

I thought there were only 2 variants - Long & Short Boot.
Don't say there are more...
