Thanks. I can see why it would have been hard to sell the collection after seeing the auction house warehouse full of his collection. It's too bad the lady in the auction video seems to really devalue GI Joe and probably didn't pay a ton for the collection as a whole.Graham_UK wrote:Here you go, not really much of a thread, I think the guy kept to himself although I heard about him through several UK old skool toy dealers,

Re: Shane Watson Vectis GI Joe Auctions
He told me he just had to get rid of it, I'd asked him for both the Defiant and the Crossfire, Everything I bought from him out of eBay I'd payed proper money so it's gutting to see that he must have, like you said let it go for nothing pretty much! So sad as if he'd only waited a bit longer and tried selling the big stuff privately he'd have made a stack more!spiderpumpkin wrote:Thanks. Re: Shane Watson Vectis GI Joe Auctions
The video mentioned they'd be sorting the collection into lot's, which raises the possibility that there could be an entirely
themed auction?

I know the defiant went for a low price but most of the other stuff was a pretty fair price.
Not here for a long time, just here for a good time.

I'm pretty sure we'll see a lot of themed lots.Thundershot wrote:The video mentioned they'd be sorting the collection into lot's, which raises the possibility that there could be an entirely :af: themed auction?

Re: Shane Watson Vectis GI Joe Auctions
I'm pissed off as this is the second recent auction that I missed from them. They really need to up their communication as they were items in both auctions that I would have loved to have a bid on.

OMG!!!!...
Judging by the first picture that guy (however low key he was) was a SERIOUS Collector!
