Hot water, cold water definitley the only way to go. It really grips my sh*t when I see TV dramas & films and they have'nt bothered to shape the berets. They always have military advisors so why don't they do it?
When I was in Cyprus we used to see the Cypriot lads going away to do their national service and it looked like they had helicopter landing pads on their heads. Never did but was so tempted to try and tell them how to shape them.

Erks me too, Humby. They should all be given Grant Campbell action figures and told to make it look the same. Its not hard, we had to do it in Venturers and got it right.
Let me tell you, Gunner La-De-Dah Graham, the British Army can fight anything! Intimate or not!
