Originally a Palace guard demoted to serve in Eternia's northern Ice station to guard the prototype Ice raider, the young Phillip resented Randor and Man at Arms for his humiliation. Seeking King Hssss, he voluntarily joined the Snakemen ranks after being altered by the Serpent's ring. Kraitor the traitor now serves Hsss as a spy amongst the Palace guards.
