Hi all,
I have sold a rather expensive item on Ebay and used My Hermes to send the item as it was too large for Royal Mail to take.
I paid for a signed for delivery which shows as being signed for by the recipient yesterday at 13.41pm.
The buyer is adamant that the item never arrived and says that no one at the address signed for it.
does anyone no if I may loose a dispute case even with a signed service?
this is my first use of My Hermes and after making a quick google search they don't sound very good. Anyone else had any similar issues with this courier?

Never used them although I intend too in the future. Don't they insure everything? If the website says they got it, phone eBay for advice but if you have delivery confirmation then surely you're protected??
My Hermes phone number is 0871 246 1583 but ITS 10p PER MINUTE

Yep everything's insured (except fragile items and electrical goods) but if they have a signature they can argue it was delivered and they won't pay up. It's possible the delivery driver signed for it and just left it on the doorstep (or in the back of his car). As you have proof of delivery ebay might side with you but I doubt it. If you can get a scan of the signature from Hermes that will help.
I bought a large Action Force collection recently and recommended Hermes to the person I bought it from and when the stuff arrived there were at least 4 breakages but the stuff wasn't that well packed tbh. I'm considering dropping them as a postage option on my site.

Re: My Hermes or My Herpes.
I did indeed gain a scan from Hermes of the signature which also had a print in the additional comments stating the recipients name. Either he was trying to have me over or someone has signed it as him.
I gave Ebay a call and explained that I had provided tracking info for the correct address and had the signature and they cancelled the case in my favor and restored my funds as I was on the phone.
I would definitely recommend this action if anyone else has a similar issue.

That's very cool! And reassuring for any sellers on eBay! Like I said I planned to use them for the bulkier stuff I sell, as long as eBay are happy to go in your favour. I wonder if buyer protection meant that the buyer got his funds refunded too?
