It's too late to back out now. I'll see you the Travelodge in October. Safe word is 'badger'.

Sand in the vaseline Jim, that'll fix em ;)

Cracking customs, especially the Fang.

I also support the requests for you to enter custom of the month too.
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

This is nearly as bad as missing hama last year.

Thank you all for the praise. You're either too kind or myopic :)
I'm going to continue with Firefight's Friday Fancies as I've gone too far to stop now.. " It is not the beginning of the end but it is the end of the beginning" -I think a talking dog or someone said that.
I will post them in the customs section at some point. The Baron and his precious archives; not since Noah or Indiana Jones has a man been so obsessed with his arks. :perfectten: (it's Sunday, I'm feeling generous).
Most of my custom vehicles and figures have been around on the internet for years if you know where to look..(it rhymes with quick wank). I'd rather enter something a bit newer into the custom of the month, maybe next weeks F.F.F vehicle. I think that it might make you gasp and take your breath away.. ;)

Personally I am totally against you entering your customs in the comp purely because they sh*t all over mine!

That said feel free to stick a few more £1.50 complete Joe figures in the spares section :.
Not here for a long time, just here for a good time.

Keep your chin up Wozzer, it's the taking part that counts not the winning. It's about having the courage to compete, about giving it your best shot. Nah screw it, I'm not going to sugar coat it, WINNING'S EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was a completely legit no questions asked emergency sale. Common as :muton: they are. Nothing :. about it what..so..ever ...................sucker!

[Edited as people do not own twenty-foot monitors :baron: ]
thanks Baz, I was just about to do that. You keep this place spick and span :salute:

Ahoy hoy firefight fans,
You may be surprised (probably not) to hear that there were no high-end toy purchases by me this week. For example; no rare red-eyed Paul Atreides or removeable (winged) underpanted Sting Dune action figures for you to ogle at:-sorry
Graham_UK et al. ;) No, this week it's a case of life imitating art imitating life (or something like that).
Now you've probably heard recently about the artist who inadvertently used £20,000 worth of comics to make a sculpture worth only about what? £2,000 if we are being generous? We all make mistakes, it can happen to the best of us. Why, something similar happened to me the other day..
..Somehow I managed to turn a complete Scrap Iron figure (conservatively)valued at £5 into a much lower valued piece of art. You want to see it? I must warn you, the following image is fairly graphic (no, not sexually SteveD  ). Viewer discretion is advised.

He's not going to be able to phone home now is he? IS HE!!!
I'm still trying to fathom what this means. It's a strange mystery perhaps only an FBI special agent Dale Cooper action figure could solve.(see earlier Paul Atreides reference for this "joke" to work). Speaking of twin peaks..

If you get this kind of calibre cosplayer turning up at your RORC, then I might have to cancel our tryst The Baron. You'd be very welcome to join me and Ana deCobray here, it's your choice; you can put your feet up or if you'd rather your helmet up herr kassells while I'm firing hot shots from the muzzle end. ;)
While we are on the subject of shooting double loads. Check out these twin cannons..

I know I've hyped this up quite a bit so I hope that it doesn't leave you feeling disasppointed or exasperated. ( I used the best ones lasp week). ;)

I'm going to post this in the custom section (I might tweek it a tiny bit first), and then enter it into COTM; up there with the best of the best. ;)
There will be no F.F.F. next week as I am taking a much deserved break. Don't you worry, I'll be back ("like an ill-advised Terminator sequel" -The Baron) with all guns ablazin', with the custom collection a crazin', sounding amazin' with the pun filled phrasin'.
cheers
firefight.
p.a.s.p. Don't forget to vote for me in the COTM contest. ;)

Just been catching up on your Friday Fancies. I really like your Wolverine and Battletank customs - nice use of that Armadillo turret, which looks right at home.

Thanks also to you and wolfforest for your compliments about my custom work :-D . It's what I really enjoy about my collecting, but I think there are and have been many great custom works on here over the time. Don't forget that when people vote in COTM they look for very different things - Dark Horse's customs are a good example. Recently there haven't been many custom posts either, so perhaps that's why mine seem to stand out right now. I'm no god of customs, just enjoy it, which hopefully comes through ;)

Keep posting your Fancies. Really entertaining.
