RIP. I went to the London Film Museum last month and saw their Harryhausen exhibition, had a full scale Medusa in it. The detail on his models is amazing. He really was a pioneer.

RIP a real master. His films scared the crap out of me as a kid. Good work. :firefly:

Totally gutted about this - loads of Sunday afternoons and Bank Holidays spent watching his work.

The word Genius is used a hell of a lot these days but Mr H in my eyes was one.

I mentioned the sad news with a work colleague, she didn't recognise the name but she knew of & had seen a lot the films.



I always imagine :skeletron:'s walking & moving as if they were animated in stop motion.
