Cool. Do the wings still open as a pair, or do you have to do them separately?

Have to open the wings separately but it's not great dramas. My worry was that they would be loose and wobbly and just flap open or closed at the slightest movement.

There are ways to link both wings for unison movement that I have seen but I am not technical enough to pull it off myself.

This way suits me fine.

Now to do a crash course on spray painting and get some realistic fighter jet markings from cobrastickers!

Cool, as long as they're not loose was my concern. I have a spray painting tutorial here if it's any use: viewtopic.php?f=83&t=5392

Thats really helpful thanks. Any tips on how to actually use spray paint? Do you just use a can or air brush?

I use a spray can, there are normally instructions printed on the side. Hold it about 20 cm from the object and slide side to side in clean strokes. It's easy enough once you get started, the only real things to watch out for are pooling if you use too much and getting fiddly shaped parts coated from every angle.
