DVD RIPPING AND CONVERTING with UK releases !

Post by jamarmiller »

I am thinking about taking part in a fan created cartoon series using footage from various sources

I was wondering one of two things

1. Does anyone here know of anyone who has Metrodomes UK release of the Inhumanoid DVD series ?

2. If I would buy the series and send it to you, Would anyone be able to rip the dvds to a region free dvd so i can play it on my US equipment and then of course send me the DVDs ?

Any help greatly appreciated

Jamar

I have ready access to DVD ripping software and can author region free discs, happy to help.
Or I could rip the discs to file and send via a download if you preferred.

Let me know if you have any luck sourcing the discs.

If you wanted to rip them yourself, MPEG streamclip or Mac The Ripper are both free software solutions.

You may be able to play them direct using your DVD-Rom.

Indeed, also most region locked hardware has an unlock code available on t'interweb.
Region encoding was a feeble attempt to restrict consumers.
It was quite cheeky as often US releases has better extras or were a better quality transfer than the UK release.

Good luck tracking them down

Roms are region locked, but you can usually find the right firmware to circumvent the problem and also improve your rip speed.
