The Catalina is new since I was last there.. Great shots thanks for sharing.
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Bloody nice. The Lightening looks lovely. I should pull finger and post some pics of the Avalon air show that my son and I went to 6 weeks ago.
Let me tell you, Gunner La-De-Dah Graham, the British Army can fight anything! Intimate or not!

Many thanks.

It's a museum I've been wanting to visit for a while. Lots of prototypes which I've only ever read about in history books, the Bristol 188 is truly amazing up close.

I've seen many aircraft displayed hanging from the roof, but never one suspended vertically before, in fact, I so was busy looking @ the planes on the ground floor (below the walkway) that I'd not spotted the lightning until I looked up :jawdropping:

Honestly, what with all those girders holding up the roof up, it looks just like Thunderbird 1 sitting on it's launch pad beneath Tracy Island.

I keep meaning to go and see RAF Cosford but its a bit far for a day trip really.

Those are some nice pictures and the hangers seem a lot more photo friendly than the hangers at Hendon. I have to say though I'm not a fan of the Cold War Hanger it seems all a bit too basic and industrial. Nice to see a Valiant there can't be too many of those left.

I love both of those museums. I was on a course at Cosford a few years ago and spent the afternoon in the museum, then headed over to duxford the day after, Bliss!
