Dr Who's little book of villians

Post by Thundershot »

Hi all,

To celebrate both Easter & the new series of Dr Who, starting this Saturday, I've dug out this little gem from the loft:
Lil' book 1.jpg

A small fold-out book which came, as a free gift, with a Dr Who themed Easter egg way back in the early 80's..

..the book came with a sheet of rub down transfers, the idea being that you had to correctly marry up the written description with the correct monster.

The only thing I can remember about the egg itself is that it came in a superb TARDIS shaped box.

Cheers
T'shot

Sadly, only these five villains in the entire book.

I used to spend hours on these transfer picture/story things when I was a lad, the best one I ever had was the Ewok Village.
Also have fond memories of an educational one about Captain Cook's death on a tropical beach...I think it was gran's way of trying to teach me some history.

I remember having some from A New Hope - the Rebel base comes to mind.
