Oh dear, I think I've just gone off in my pants.........................
When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Long time lurker, non existent poster. I spend a lot of time gazing at other people's collections on here and H*£s T@!k.
This is an amazing collection, some of these items I've never come across for sale (not that I could afford them) and instantly transport me to my youth.
I dream about Firefly and Scrap Iron having seen them in Brent Cross Toys r Us for £1.67 and passing them up for a Transformer some time in the early 80's.
I can clearly recall looking up at the aisle end display and thinking I'll tell my friend Matt what the price was as he collected them more than me at the time.

What does it feel like to have the set now? Elation or relief.
Maybe you could donate them to random members and then have the thrill of hunting them all down again?
Or maybe hire them out to poor deprived collectors just to hold and recall the freedom and innocence of childhood for a few days at a time.

My tiny collection (2 carded figures and 3 boxed vehicles) will forever be a source of joy and frustration.
Thanks for posting the pics

Its funny. You are never really finished. There's variants, better condition cards, vehicles, vehicle drivers, series 4 carded...........

I thought I was done collecting AF these days but I'm back into it more than ever.

One day when i finally have a display room at home and I've enjoyed it for a few years I'd like to give this collection to a Toy Museum in the UK. Then everyone can enjoy them...

Weather that ever happens we shall see but its a nice ideas.

I got into some vehicle variants but never for the figs, the idea of hunting variants for the whole 3 series makes my head hurt.
Interestingly i never noticed that they mixed the first few GI Joe waves when they hit AF series 3.
Yes; Flash, Stalker, Breaker
No Zap, Shortfuze, Grunt etc.
These early green shirts could have easily been recoloured as Z Force.
Also Hawk & his green MMS could have been worked in without too much trouble.

Would a regular museum display a whole collection like you have or just cherry pick the most valuable/interesting?
I think the only solution is to open up your shed to the public and charge an entrance fee.
Thanks for sharing.
