Battle Picture Weekly torrent

Post by irishal »

I've seen this cd for sale on ebay with 500 issues of Battle in it. Im pretty sure the guy didnt scan them himself, but I cannot locate a torrent anywhere? Does anyone know where I could find it?

He also has a lot of Valient, Lion, Tiger and Eagle for sale, a lot more than I can find on the net.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190770954218

Also do you know of any other British comics that are available eg Victor, Scream, Warlord etc?

Cheers

Scream has been posted on a fan site, not sure where. I googled it and downloaded the lot as a RAR IIRC.

And yeah, the prick with the CD's is ripping off someone else's work.

Any idea where to get the Battle one from? I don't want to pay him any money. Particularly as he tries to copyright it for himself at the bottom of the ad.

Pretty sure they aren't public domain. Someone here might pop along with something soon. Personally I'd buy em and then set up a nice little torrent. ;-) Then let him know.

They'll most likely be Moose's scans from www.bestofbattle.co.uk, but there was somebody who released a ton of scans a couple of years back, they were pretty ropey quality. I started doing c2c issues for the Action Force era, of which I released about 150 issues. I'll finish it one day.

I'm not sure what comic torrent sites are out there any more, I get all my scans direct from the DC++ hubs.

Try The Comic Shack and The 'Hole. Search for user KT3bot, he uploads all of the recent scans.
