Thanks Guys I have now purchased one and paid the lower end of what TKW and SteveD were good enough to advise.

That looks complete and good nick, bar the paperwork. Took me 3 years to get Beavers oar so you've done well, mate. BTW, when I did get the oar I just bought a complete one.
