Just after peoples thoughts on this. Next week I get my Arashikage tattoo. It's a tattoo I always wanted to get since I was 18. In fact I used to draw it on my forearm with a red pen when I was about 8 or 9. The only thing that ever stopped me in the past was the fact that it was from a fictional world based on the toys I grew up with, and my wife would ridicule me for "wasting good money" on another tattoo which to her, didn't mean anything.
Anyway, I have the opportunity to get it done for a "trade swap" with one of my clients, so my wife can't really complain as it won't technically cost anything. So I'm doing it.
But, I'm not 100% sure if I should get it in
a) Traditional Red (as I'm naturally olive skinned like a Spaniard, although I'm half Malaysian) and it may not stand out as much
b) Black, as all my other ink is black and it would stand out more
And also
c) get it on my forearm
d) upper arm (Can't do either shoulder as they are already covered) so between bicep and tricep
If I go forearm, I want to get it right. Storm Shadow's tattoo seems to move from lower forearm to upper forearm, and then to the upper arm on the other side...

Re: New Ink
To be honest, It's the tattoo that all Joe fan's go for, I've seen it on various parts of the body (I think Seth Green has it in red on his inner forearm which looks cool) I'm going to get it done too but I reckon go for authenticity! Have it on your right forearm about half way down in red! as it should be.
Re: New Ink
Black would look nice. I'm seriously tempted to get my Baron head design done...
Thing is, it only works with the red background.

Gotta be on the forearm. Black would all add to the effect. What size tho'? S/M/L/XL?Nobunaga wrote: And also

Probably best to try out a few non-permanent options first ...

Yeah, indeed, that might work, in fact, probably the best option. The Baron wrote:Maybe a circular piece?

Re: New Ink
If it's on my forearm, which the more I think about it I probably will have it done there, I'm going for a full size.
Jim, yeah, something circular would look good, but I do like your Avatar design though...
