Red Dwarf X
So far we have had the first two episodes out of six I think the series is still good despite the fact Holly has been written out. What does anyone else think of it?
Spock, where the hell's the power you promised?

I'm really liking it. Wish they'd knocked out these episodes 15 years ago.
They've reset the characters which helps a lot. Cat might as well not have turned up for Series 7 & 8 and Kryten was a mess (except for Krytie TV); this is much better.
I miss Holly too.

I'll let you know. Just got Back to Earth, mmmmm, OK. Now to watch these newies.
Let me tell you, Gunner La-De-Dah Graham, the British Army can fight anything! Intimate or not!

Don't do it, Chop. BTE is abysmal.
This new one is up to snuff, though.

I really like it - very much a return to the simplicity of earlier series. I'd given up on for the past few series as I just didn't find it funny anymore, but X is lots of fun.

Yep, dropping all the pretentious heavy sci fi concepts has done the show a power of good.
It feels like classic Dwarf.I like how this new series is focusing just on it's core characters & thier personalities..the scripts are nice 'n' tightly written & the actors just seem to be much happier & having fun maybe filming in front of a real live audience helps sharpen it all up ?

I'm enjoying it, though the sound levels seem wanky.
On touching the trig point, I found my thrill
To the east Brokeback Mountain, to the west, Benny Hill
I'll give you the grid ref, you might like to go
