Action.....er Force
ok lads and ladettes, it appears we have headed back in time some what and many threads and posts are kind of old now. i personnally don't want to dig up endless 'new' reponses from threads from 2010 for instance, i think we should perhaps go team on things that are missing that as an individual if it's lost and you feel it should be back you start a new thread and we fill up the forums with new material giving plenty to respond on and so on. any thoughts?
CIA got you pushing to many pencils.

Re: Action.....er Force
good idea Eddie, are you thinking a list of those subjects that were good for content and we try and cobble together what we remember?

for me it's the toy based ones, so will have a look through. One I enjoyed, but didn't really contribute to was the discussion on each Action Force member's country of origin.

I do believe Dark Horse salvaged that thread for the Red Shadows board, I'll check. Hope so!
What I miss most are the comments in the Colouring Project archive. We'll never recapture that, but I can start a discussion thread for each lost strip at least.

I miss the knob jokes.
Actually, what I really love to see, and perhaps as a sticky thread at the top of the "collections" sections, would be a thread of peoples collections, with photos and what have you? So, for example, there'd be a sticky thread for Eddies collection, updated by him as and when he wanted to? That way the threads of folks collections would always be at the top, and we could see how collections evolve if folks wanted to update their photos? That way we could re-post old photos, pending pictures of collections as they currently stand etc, rather than fishing back through old posts?

The trouble with sticky threads is they wind up dominating the first page of a sub-forum - look at the Colouring Project and Rising Sun forums as an example. Any more than ten and you have to scroll way down for new posts.
I was planning on going through the Collections forum and making up an archive similar to the Customs archive, permissions allowing. It may just be better to focus on building that up?
