German ATT Action Force Advert

Post by rcm1234567 »

German ATT Action Force Advert
In 1984 there seem to have been a series of ATT Action Force adverts in West German comics.
One of the comics they were available in was “Lasso”, published by Bastei, which featured various Wild West comic strips.
The advert pictured below appeared in issue 631 of Lasso. & occupied the middle pages of the comic. It consists of a short comic strip & pictures of some of the Action Force toys.
The title of the strip is “Unterwasser-Station in Gefahr” (Undersea-Station (or Base) in Danger) & in the top left hand corner it says "Abenteuer 1" (Adventure 1).

Fantastic! Thank you for sharing - I'll grab that for the archive if I may.

We have the German edition comics here: http://www.bloodforthebaron.com/blood/German.html

Lady Jaye provided us with a translation, when I get the time I'll translate them using Photoshop.

Hey no fair I'm a German translator! ;)

On the floor of the Coral Sea the democratic world government has built itself a super modern deep sea laboratory. One day...
:shadow: Position alpha reached.
:baron2: What are you waiting for Red Shadow? FIRE!
:shark: Water breach! Close all shutters!
:dolphin: Save yourself Shark!
This is Deep City! Emergency! Water breach in dome 1!
:phones: Full power ahead! Engage turbo thrust!
We are under attack! Help us!
:phones: Paralysis torpedo away!
For naught! An invisible shield surrounds the boat...
Even the Stingray is powerless...
:shark: Missed!
There is only one possibility...
:shark: With a blocked rudder the submarine will have to give up!
:shark: The rogue escapes again!
Can Baron Ironblood really escape? This and even more adventures you can shape for yourselves anytime. With the figures and vehicles of Action Force...
TSATT has succeeded. Baron Ironblood retreats. Still he is already planning another new assault on land. If it will succeed to let him dominate the world you can read about it in the next issue.

Brilliant, if you wanted to add your own interpretation to the two comics that would be most welcome!
