Good software is only a torrent away!

Any recomendations? There are so many out there, but the software I'm using is starting to p*@! me off! Whenever I do something then save it, the next day I see little pixelated squares all over the image while they weren't there before.

The latest Photoshop really, I used to use Paint Shop Pro, but found a similar pixellation problem. Use http://www.isohunt.com for torrents
