Shads without skull and cross bones

Post by paul463 »

I got some :shadow: from an ebay lot today, they didn't have the skull and cross bones on the helmet nor were the Wermacht wings painted. Are these replicas? I seem to remember a post on here about this befoe but I can't seem to find it!

Cheers

When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

If the logo on the helmet is an all black triangle , more than likely they are the German releases.

Ah, scooby beat me to it! I'd be very keen to get hold of a Schwarzer Major if there's one in there.

Thanks Lads. Its just the black triangle. They were in a lot of UK series 2 stuff, no other German bits. Thanks for the links it adds another dimension to the AF story!

It's just a thought, but with a tiny bit of paint you could make a dead cool Shadow custom Squad Leader. The Kraken Wakes has been using this symbol to great effect on his customs, and I think you could easily paint it onto the black triangle - it's sticker #13 on the Roboskull sheet.

Cheers Baron,

I might give it a go this weekend. It looks easy enough to replicate! I've got plenty paint from my other hobby of building model planes! The anorak has many hoods!
