Every now and then the toy comes complete with the box.

Though, I don't specifically collect the boxes, only the loose toys, I've amassed quite a few boxes recently.

Speaking with Scoobydie and he says that my green AF version boxed Wolverine is particularly rare. Is that so?

Anybody agree with Andy? I thought it wasn't. Hope I'm wrong!

Very impressive, I only have 2 of those boxes myself (hovercraft and skystriker) but yours are in much better nick, mine are stuffed full of other toys sadly due to lack of space.

I remember seeing a boxed Green AF Wolverine as a kid in a toy shop in Nantwich as a kid, but I remember I wasn't allowed it as I already had the SAS version, mostly I wanted Ton-Up (kind of disappointing that when I finally got that figure I disocvered he's not a cool Swedish tank driver but some LA surfer bum)

I really like the window-less Swordfish box, didn't realised they did that, did most of the window boxed items from series 2 get repacked in window-less boxes?

I think they all were, and so were the blister packs such as the Space Force Satellite Defence, SAS Boat Patrol and SAS Para Attack. Not sure about the Q Force Stingray.

The boxed SAS Boat patrol is exceedingly rare.

Although having said that I've never seen a windowless Cosmic Cruiser or SAS MMS box... anyone? Were they in the wave 2 promo pics?

Just lookng through the archive, we also need a windowless SAS Panther box, and a windowed Q Force Swordfish.

The Z Force battletank looks to be the exception to the rule, as it has a photo of the toy, but a window for Steeler.

I've seen a fair number of them. It's rare, but not super rare.

Now a windowless Panther, that's pretty dam rare. I'm pretty sure it exists, but I can't remember seeing one.
