Custom Red Shadows, Kraken and Black Major heads

Post by Mastermind »

Hey Everyone,
One of your members contacted me a today regarding the custom castings I do of the Red Shadows, Kraken and Black Major. I've been an Action Force fan for a long time but never really saw any of the figures as I am from Canada. With the help of some Ebay auctions and the GIJoe convention in San Francisco this year I have been able to collect most of the figures from the early Palitoy Action Force series.
Being a customizer I tried to find a way to add to my Red Shadows army. With the help of a 'volunteer' Red Shadows figure I was able to do a perfect mold of the head. As most of the figures around these days have ball socket necks I customized a head with a ball socket neck and cast this as well. The result has been the ability to build tons of Red Shadows, Kraken and Black Major heads.
I've been selling my custom heads to people in North America for a few months for a one dollar US apiece. I didn't even know this site existed until someone from the site contacted me. I'm just curious if anyone here is interested in cast and custom heads of the Red Shadows and Action Force figures? If anyone is interested please contact me at Hobanagerik@hotmail.com and I'll send you some pics of the heads and some of my own personal customs.
I can't wait to explore this site more. It's great to find other people who are really into the whole Action Force universe.

I use a two-part liquid plastic which dries rock-hard and picks up all the detail of the original. If someone can show me how to post pics here I'll post some of all the ones I currently make.
Thanks.

Very cool, I could use a few of these. Any chance we can see some pics of figures with the Shadow head?
There are really only two possibilities: Either there is life in the universe more intelligent than us, or we are the most intelligent form of life in the universe. Either way, it's a pretty worrying thought!

Must remember to get some of those shadow heads, cos they'd go great with this item:

Replace the heads, add red & black paint and voila, a very easy way to make an army of shadows with full articulation! Ohh yeah and they all come with figure stands, backpacks and guns too!
