Skeletron and the Minesweeper!

Post by paulitoy »

I've listed these two on eBay tonight. I'm pretty pleased with them!

I think I've explained everything in the listings, but if anyone needs any extra info, please pm me.

Some of you should recognise the filecard on the back of the Skeletron!!

:skeletron: Love it!!

One confusing thing though, Minesweeper sez:

"The minesweeper figure, backpack, mines and mine detector, and the bubble are all genuine vintage Palitoy Action Force"

followed by

"The figure upon close inspection is a reproduction"

Need to tweak that, I think.

Nice job Paul :)
Just one thing, did you say "the figure on closer inspection is a reproduction" in the listing?

You may want to add the word "custom" or "replica" to the auction title, ebay can be pretty sh*tty about copyright laws.

Thanks Louie! Yes, the custom Skeletron opens up many possibilities - my most favourite 'to do' is a mail-away commander on a 'first 12' cardback.

I could also get some custom figures re-carded, such as this one:

Re: the bubbles -

You can either superglue them on or use clear double-sided tape. Both are really fiddly so I'd recommend doing a few test runs first as you are bound to mess up a bit!
