I sure hope IDW does a monthly as well as I really would like to see a Action Man comic done, with possible crossovers with GI JOE

Looks like the art and the news have been deleted from his DA account. I do hope it's cos he jumped the gun and not some puerile internet stunt.

Guess we'd best wait to here from IDW's EIC Chris Ryall on that score.

ya it was taken down and I got a e-mail from Ryall and the Action Man editor

i have the e-mails somewhere but they said, we dont have the license, we are just doing a few comics for the toys, they will be packed together with the toys, No license has been awarded

Ah well. Still at least we know there will be some new Action Man comics of a sort, and if they get the G.I. Joe license they may fold in some AM or original AF stuff into it. After all Hasbro seem to be quite happy to have continued the story from Marvel on to Devil's Due as opposed to the rebootarama that Transformers became.

That's too bad, as I was hoping for a full on AM comic, or even a mini-series/trade. I am hoping that the toys make it out to the US. But it's good that they'll have comics packaged with the toys.
