Jamar,

Was that reply of yours a BFTB record? It's got to be one of the longest posts I've ever seen here. 10,000th post and now the longest ever post [?] all in the same week? Where's Norris Mcwhirter when you need him? [UK '80's reference]

Been reading the 3rd story in the mighty 'tome - 'Assassin'. I'm fine up until Storm Shadow dives into the water and it says 'next week - the peace rocket'.

But what happens then? Red suit? Same drawings, just slightly alterred? And who is 'Cobra De Aco'? I am daft or something as this just threw me?!!?

Also, do you have any time frame planned for the 'publication' of 'Volume 2: Blood For The Baron'

Manleh
Sei-tin ( SATAN )

there all Argentina and Brazil Characters that I love ! Oh and that last page is drawn by R T ATKINS who did the SNAKE EYES DECLASSIFIED book that came out from DEVILS DUE a few years ago ( must have if you dont already have it )

Im really hoping for volume II to come out June so 3 months, but it depends on when our colorist finish. I got a lot of stories working and Im hoping to make this second one really Baron Iron Blood and Red shadow early stories focused so were just waiting on some of those stories to be completed.

then after that Im hoping for around September for the next one. Im also wanting to stagger these a little just to give people time to read it, ask questions , discuss and keep interest alive the more people keep talking the more fans and chance well see more of Action Force things or I hope heheheheehe

so ya 3-4 months apart,

I posted the video and cover at one site just yesterday and the response has been incredibly well ! we have several new members join too because of it LOL

Received my copy on Friday, very, very impressed.

The appearance of Glenda, Satan et al, blew me socks off. Although I grew up with Action Force, I've been into the whole GI Joe world for a few years now, and I've got a photo guide to Internationally produced Joes (part of a three volume set by two chaps in the US, the other 2 volumes cover modern era Joes), so seeing Glenda and the South American Cobras was awesome.

I realise the reasons for changing Scarlett, Stalker and Gung Ho into Quarrel, Jammer and Gaucho for some stories, even though I know in stories like the Great Cobra Robbery they weren't actually the Z Force characters, but I'm cool with that.

LOL the "adult" humour is something I wasn't expecting (Quarrel reading a certain book and her lack of a top at the end), but I did laugh and I guess that was the intention.

Now I know you're not keen on Kraken and Space Force, but it'd be cool to see some of the stories these chaps were in too.

As for any future volumes, well count me in for sure. The quality of the product put the Devils Due TPBs to shame, and seeing as once World War Three has finished we might have to wait until 2009 for another Joe comic (and even then who knows what kind of comic that will be) I'll be needing a fix of action figure comic book action to fill the gap.

Everyone involved in the project should be rightly proud of their handy work.

Wonderful to hear that you enjoyed it and approve of the book ! I feel the quality of the book is very very good too.

I love the foreign characters so I had to do that Satan and Glenda Story LOL

With Quarrel Jammer and Gaucho, the more people see them the more they will look into this line they will ask who are they, we'll answer z force people!!!, they will ask whos Z force and we'll say you know Skip Doc Scout, tracker wheels, and this will get them more into the line!

and finally someone noticed the book Quarrel was reading, now who did that.........( looks the other way ) .

Did you notice your shipping label?? no -one has mentioned that yet

thanks for posting your thoughts! Im thrilled you enjoyed it !

LOL yes I did notice the shipping label, can I now consider myself one of the Barons foot soldiers? ;-)

Hmmm so if you were responsible for the book Quarrel was reading, were you also resonsible for her lack of a blue Cobra shirt at the end when she's on the stretcher? nudge, nudge, wink, wink, know wot I mean

I know a few of us Brits are taking up the book coz it brings back memories of our youth, but I just wondered whether many of your fellow Americans have shown an interest in these stories? I haven't been on Joe sightings et al for ages but I guess you're plugging the book on these places too. I know quite a few US Joes collectors are well into all the international variations of their beloved ARAHs.

not really, only here did I announce it about a month ago but I did post pictures there very recently with the video but not saying anything about it being for sale

but those pictures and video did bring a lot of questions up and a lot of inquiries !! but the members of this board knew about it here about a month before any other place did. The americans just started ordering this book ( the ones that arent members on this board ) about a week ago when I posted

Im hoping others talk about it then and more people want the book!

the response has been good though so far, and when word gets out I expect a lot more orders to come through

just waiting on people to start talking about it at the other boards
