Troy Skeller was an all-American high school student. Clever, witty, daring, handsome. Quarterback for his High School Football Team, Class President, Homecoming King, voted most likely to become President in his Yearbook. He was born into a family steeped in military tradition, so it took no persuasion from his family for him to want to enter the army. From an early age, a sense of honour, duty to his country and fair play had been instilled into him by his strict but loving parents.
Naturally, he went to West Point Military Academy and became popular with both cadets and tutors alike for his easy going and laconic nature. He had a real sense of adventure, and would spend his vacation time ice climbing, white water rafting, para-gliding or off-piste ski-ing.
After several successful years as an officer in the Infantry, including tours of duty on the frontline in various police actions, he was recommended for airborne and SEAL training. His love of extreme sports proved useful, and he found the training easy.
It was during his time with SEAL Team 2 that he was suddenly summoned to the Pentagon. From there he was escorted to the United Nations building and offered command of the Counter-Terrorism Unit, to be known as SAS Squad, of the newly formed United Nations Primary Assault Squad, later to be called Action Force. He accepted immediately. With his experience in counter terrorism actions around the world, he knew first hand that international military co-operation was essential.
The last mission he led was against a chemical weapons laboratory in South America. During the op, he found the main lab. Entering, an alarm was tripped and he was sprayed in the face and upper body by an unknown chemical that started melting his clothes and skin. The rest of his team was forced back by soldiers dressed in red uniforms. By the time they made their way back to the lab, all they found were bones in a pile of chemical sludge.
Troy Skeller was listed as Killed In Action, and given a military funeral at Arlington with full honours, attended by Pentagon staff, UN delegates and his successor, Charles Buckingham. He was posthumously awarded the UN Medal of Valour and the congressional Medal of Honour.

The following is a report based on the debriefing of a captured Red Shadow Officer:
Troy Skelller SURVIVED the attack on the chemical weapons lab. The chemical was an advanced prototype of a viral acid being tested. The bones found were of a previous test subject. Skeller was then treated with a neutralising counter agent. His eyes were saved by the fact he as wearing night vision goggles, but all of his skina nd much of the muscle mass on his head, upper body and arms was destroyed. Baron Ironblood and Professor Alberich immediately spirited the dying Skeller away to another lab where they experimented on him using grafting and prosthetics. Most of his internal organs were undamaged, but required treatment. The two doctors decided to leave his head untreated, to help undermine his morale and make him more susceptible to brainwashing.
Six months later, The Skeletron emerged from Inronblood’s medical facilities. He is fanatical and hates anything considered beautiful. He leads Ironblood’s Mutons from his hover chair. Skeletron is assumed to be responsible for teroist activities now resulting in the deaths of 350 people.
No consideration should be given to the fact he was originally a war hero. He should be considered armed and extremely dangerous. Standing orders are to terminate with extreme prejudice.
