That Punisher cover is rather fantastic, aint it?

Just found this in the box, I think Mr Dawson would like to see it...

I remember dad taking me along for a test drive in one, & must of picked this book up afterwards from the Toyota dealership to keep as a memento.

I think that these Dr Who mini comics were a free gift from multi packs of Cheesy Wotsits, weren't they?

i have that TFU book too!

my Transformers collection runs from #45 thru #300-odd... i bought the trades of the last few US issues to get the end of the story...

as a kid, i came in at #49, but gave it to another kid, and as an adult, managed to find a *$£@ing huge stack in a comics shop in Gloucester and picked up #45-#49, a replacement for my tatty #51 and filled my gaps, except the BIG ONE - #150. the Origin story!

Cool! That's so 80's it's untrue! Love it! Mine was the t-bar version - I love it! My dads still got it (he bought it off me!) as his sunny weather car! I'm surprised at some of the rivals listed - caterham super 7!!

I guess they just weren't that many small sports cars in production during the mid 80's, that Fiat had been kicking around from the early 70's.
The Transformers book is an excellent read, really brings to life the personalities of the cast, with a lot of character traits you just wouldn't expect to find in a toy franchise based story line.

Unless you read any titles based on a toy franchise of course, Marvel/Star Comics did some of the best ones back then. Where did you get the Universe book from T-Shot? I remember them saying years ago on a Grim Grams letter page it was supposed to be a series but instead got put into Transformers UK comics.
Spock, where the hell's the power you promised?

I seem to recall buying the book from one of them discount book shops...many years ago whilst I was @ college, it was short while after the comic itself had been out of publication, but I dont remember much else about it, Irony.
