Totally agree with you there. These convention exclusive go for alot of money here in the States, Moondancer and Blades toping the list.

Blades? Really? Moondancer I understand but Blades isn't that hard to find.

I've been hunting for the old thread but this is the closest I can find - did we ever figure out the official story for the jointed UK figures with their US-counterpart-accessories bubbles?

i remember reading something arie wrote and it had to do with mike wizbang. i think i copied the text and save it. ill did for it after work and see what i can find

The bubbled figures were Palitoy overstock sold by Whizbang as Travis mentioned not Convention exclusives.

Blades and Hunter have fleshier paint apps. and Gaucho has a dark red vest rather than orange red vest like the bagged version.

So these were never officially released? Strange how overstock figures had recoloured accessories. I should remove them from the archives then.
