Totally agree with you there. These convention exclusive go for alot of money here in the States, Moondancer and Blades toping the list.Tracks wrote:one reason has to be a simple head swap with an american zap and presto you've got Dolphin version 2 (there are more than enought yanks who only want palitoy us mold stuff)Shogi wrote:Well this would explain why figures like Quarrel and Stalker are easier to find, but why is Moondancer still so hard to find?

Hunter. Both my Hunter and Blades are pretty road worn. I see what you mean. Its Mojo tho.

I've been hunting for the old thread but this is the closest I can find - did we ever figure out the official story for the jointed UK figures with their US-counterpart-accessories bubbles?

The bubbled figures were Palitoy overstock sold by Whizbang as Travis mentioned not Convention exclusives.
Blades and Hunter have fleshier paint apps. and Gaucho has a dark red vest rather than orange red vest like the bagged version.

Where Bombardier was discovered! http://www.bloodforthebaron.com/toys/in ... dex16.html
So these were never officially released? Strange how overstock figures had recoloured accessories. I should remove them from the archives then.
Thanks for your help, guys!
