I managed to run out of darn gas for the airbrush!
Should have some more very soon and I`ll have the grey cammo on.
Anyone have any top tips on mixing the paint and thinners together for the brush?
I tried using a syringe for measuring but that option failed after the inner rubber expanded and
it wouln`t move anymore!
I think you can buy paints that just screw straight onto the brush and need no mixing.
I`ll investigate further :)

I notice you have varying shades of black in there, do you undercoat? A once-over with a can of white spray makes all the difference, especially when doing red for Shadows customs.

This is the first vehicle I have done with an airbrush, and the paintjob is a LOT smoother than brush.
I haven`t used an undercoat on these, the different shades is down to the gas running out and me
frantically shaking the can to get the last out !!
Another reason was the different mix of paint, the second being a lot thinner, it didn`t stick too well to the plastic as well as the first.
But its all trial and error in these cases and my efforts should improve in time :)

Been playing with the colour schemes on these and come up with this.
Quite pleased with the results, still a little left to do , little paint touch up here and there.

Those look really nice. Great paint jobs. I think I will have to bite my tongue and put yellow highlights on my SAS vehicles.
Come have a look at some of my custom action figures:

I thought it kept in line with The Panther jeep and the helicopter.
The Wolverine could look quite cool with yellow missiles.

Looking good Andy!

There's a very clear sense of improvement here as you learn and get better from trial & error!

This time next year, you'll be the Custom King of the 'Port!

Great stuff.
