Apparently, in a very cruel twist of fate, Little Frank died yesterday too.

Really sad.

Saw Frank's picture on the front of the BrokenTV weblog Monday night, thought "What's he up to nowadays?" clicked, realised it was an obituary and thought "Oh. Oh no.".

Loved his daft sketches on Standing Room Only.

I saw him live at the Boardwalk in Sheffield a few years back and he really was great in that whole "pissed up audience in the pub" way. One of the lads who was with us who'd moaned a bucketful all the way there and in the pub before about how he was "for kids" and "never liked him" was crying with laughter after the first 5 minutes of his Queen Medley! A great night!

I wasn't aware of his passing, it's sad news indeed.

Although I hold my hand up to admitting not to have been a big fan, his was one of the truly unique British comedy acts & missed by many.

i remember seeing him on kids tv, but me mum had no idea who he was when i told her.
