Did Palitoy/Hasbro ever make an AF/GI Joe assault course as these keep appearing on sites such as E-Bay.
Can anybody help.
Thanks

Nope neither Palitoy nor Hasbro made assault courses, however some other cheapo company did and these are what gets put on ebay.
The popular misconception lies due to the fact that the package had a photo on the front featuring kids using

figures from the Palitoy era...
I recall Argos and Index stocking them as a kid....

Thank again.

Hey well remembered! I've still got it actually. The Military Assault Course was manufactured by a company called Casdon, and sized for 3.75" figures.
Since I am selling off a load of my GI Joe figures and vehicles at the moment (but keeping my Red Shadow collection), I'll be listing it again on ebay in the next week or so (soon as I get the digicam back from my parents house). Hopefully it'll sell this time, I won't be putting a reserve price on it like I did before.
I don't currently have any photos of it, but I'll be taking a few with the digicam and I'll post them here also.

Cheers for the pics. I see the "

" connection the figures and the mention on the box. The marketing people at both companies must have been rubbing their hands with glee.

Mein Gott, I am gasping now, like I did, then, back in 1989, on my first real assault course... Ja!
And no, meine freunds, I don't mean like the fugger in the video gasping over his Spandau-Bronx actions. Mutter-fichen that they art, naturlich.
PS. Anyway, new that was bogus-like way back in the real 80s as

confirmed, all I'm concerned about is the validity of those AF telephones and stuff, like Jonesy and others posted way back when.
PPS. Anyway, where's Jimbo, what's happening in Cyprus? AF fighting the demned Sheds or wot? Where's the demned

got to? Stuck on a Baleric reefer and nowhere to go?

I remember this assault course. I had this and it fitted well with the AF toys at the time. Unfortunatley it was given away many, many years ago!
