Hi all,

To those in the London area please check in so we know your safe & well.

I know it maybe awhile as Net & Mobile phones are supposed to be affected due to the Terrorist attack.

Also l`d like to send my condolances to those who have suffered today from this COWARDLY attack against innocent bystanders.Be they the bystanders or just as bad family & friends frantic with panic over Loved one`s in London.

May our Goverments resources bring these Blood thirsty people an early grave.

I believe there is a quote that goes: "Violence is always the first recourse of the simple mind." :?

From Europe mainland I sent my condolances to those who lost anybody in the cowardly attacks. Yesterday I was on the phone with my UK friends. Was glad to hear nobody was injured.

hello all

i havn't been on this site for some time now for several reasons......

1) new baby
2) renovating new house

and most importantly 3) i have been incredably busy at work. i am a member of the Met police force firearms unit and even before 07/07 we have been working very hard trying to stop what happened on Thursday last and the week before. i am touched and heartened that even on a site which, for me, is about escaping to my childhood there is concern for Londoners from the rest of the UK and overseas. rest assured that there is definatly a gritty determination to sort this out and i just wait for the day when they make a mistake and we get them in our sights. i'll mention the sentiments shown in this post to my colleagues tonight (nightduty... bummer) cos we need all the support we can get. thanks folks.

Andy,

You guys have a Hard & difficult job, though do please tell your Brethren they DO INDEED EXCEED in there Jobs & we are Proud to have you as the Protectors of Innocence.

As for all the Shoot to Kill,Your challanged & you run, well your a suspect, simple as that l`m afraid to say. So in my books nothing done wrong & alas a method we do indeed need implimenting if we`re to stop any other Suicide Bombers. As wound shots will not stop them from detonating.

So as said Andy, Great job you guys are doing in very hard & trying times (what with the way the law works in olde Blighty) & moreso as there`s no protection from the crown for you guys.
l do feel sorry for the decissions you guys have to make split second & implications that may come from them, though I do applaud you all for being willing to take up such a hard mantle & complete this task before you.

thanks mate..................the law in this country is idiosyncratic in many ways, some good some not. however i won't debate these matters, or others here as mine is not to reason why.

it is good to hear from the silent majority once in a while and you can rest assured we will keep up the highest levels of professionalism that the public has the right to expect.

i hope some of this overtime  will pay for some AF goodies although i think my wife has other plans.
