...I can remember when this were all fields.....

well, not quite, but what happened to our rowdy Friday afternoons here on BFTB???? I remember I used to spend many a joyful afternoon slacking off work and arsing around on here!

So, after a particularly stressful afternoon at work where clients rudely demanded I do some work for them, I logged on hoping for some irrelevant banter and offbeat shenanigans to lighten my mood somewhat, and I hit "view new posts". To get three.

Three!!!! That's no good! That's not lightened my mood!! I guess I'd best just leave work and go home still all grumpy! The missus will not be pleased. Although saying that, she'll liekly be even less pleased this time next week when it finally dawns on her that she's no longer just the Missus as a jokey reference, but is, in fact, the Mrs and thus stuck with me for good!! Poor, poor girl!!

I don't know, but my feeling is that we're in a fuzzy post-Joecon glowy phase. There's a tremendous sense of achievement, dare I say justice and all-round general triumph, coupled with a vague air of "um... now what?"

Or is it just me?

Work monitor all internet traffic and if any detection of fun or enjoyment is triggered a kill squad is dispatched to the relevant department to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Sounds harsh where you work.

Dull boring and un-engaging. I have to get my kicks by rocking the boat, I just need to finish my course and the I can be free.

Is that a course of drugs or an obstacle course odb? If it's drugs then come on, share them round.

In a much better mood now - just been to see the a team and was pleasantly surprised by it!

I think it's possibly that it's the summer now, so lots of us are out playing on our bikes or climbing trees rather than playing with our toys. Come the winter the paint brushes will be out again and we'll all be in a postings frenzy. And that's just andy!!

I've just been too busy to do much more than scan and read. Not getting any richer tho, so busy sucks. Damned, ovens, fences, cars, houses.........
