One for the transformers experts...
Is this a normal price range for a G1 Jetfire or are there just 2 bidders who really want it?

G1 Transformers do go for insane prices jim I wanted to get some but find they are unaffordable the closest I got was my Micromaster patrol set at £14.

You've just sent a shiver down my spine Jimbobx.
My mind turns back to a couple of decades ago, last day of school was 'bring in your own toys' day. My friend, Mark Harrison, brought in a shiny new Transformers Jetfire.
I asked if I could play with it.
He said yes, but with slight hesitation.
I attempted to 'transform' it.
Mark was on the other side of the room.
There was a snapping noise as I tried to force a limb into place.
I placed the now broken Jetfire into a random toy box and left the class room.
I know not if Mark was in a flood of tears, or whether it was blamed on someone else. I only know, I was to blame and didn't have the guts to come clean
I may have to track him down on Facebook or something so I can apologize

I believe that's a Henkei reissue or something which is why its cheaper. I've actually got a complete, shiny white G1 jetfire in my shop but I'd priced him at £49.95 - I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't 'doing myself' as it were. Still, what people will pay in a competitive auction is often more than they will pay in a BIN situation.

You weren't to blame, dude. It's not an easy transform. I had to go on youtube to find a 'How to transform a G1 Jetfire' instructional video. And even then it was a bit tricky!

Jetfire has to be one of the most desirable G1 bots, and that one is very tasty looking, could go higher still.
