I just love the attitude of the guy in the interview, 
"Don't be sa bloody stupid, mate!", you could just imagine the uproar, health & safety issues & major Police investigations that would follow if we had an inccident like this here in England...

Yeah, but you don't have Croc's in every pond north of the border. Darwin is a funny place, last year I went up there and went swimming in a local Billabong, two days earlier a 7 foot Croc had been hauled out. You only have to swim faster than the other guy. 
Another funny thing about Darwin is the beautiful beaches. You just can't swim there for the Salties.

Always in the gutter....... The trouser snake antics are between me and my sordid past. 
I have had VERY close run ins with A Red Bellied Black Snake, Tiger Snake and a pair of Brown snakes. Brown snakes are the second deadliest in the world. Oh, and they can get fuckin big. And scary.
