Blood for the Baron!

my sister bought me a The Corps! figure in Poundland to try to cheer me up because of my sh*tty time at work lately.

it's marked as 'NEW!' and on the back, there's art for 12 figures in this new line. they appear to have come over a bit Action Force.

The Corps! now consists of 'Terra Team', 'Flying Force', 'Sea Squad' and 'Covert Command' who seem strikinglu similar to and . the villains are called 'Marauders'.

the one my sis bought is Alex Brody "Rucker" of Terra Team. he looks like a modern Joe figure, comes with a rifle, armour vest and what looks like a night-stick.

it's the thought that counts, eh? but i would've preferred a ROC figure even if i don't like the modern Joes...

if anyone's interested, i'll take some pics of the figure and the card back as he's still MOC. (i'd like to flog him to someone who'd appreciate him and buy something i'd rather have, but can't without insulting sis... so he's staying MOC and will gather dust some where...

I've seen a few of them new Corps toy's they really do seem to be trying to be more like don't they?
Even some of the figure look like mini versions of the new Actionman...

They showcase some Corps! vehicles for reviews on Cobraisland they look pretty good. It's a pity DDP didn't do a good job on their comic they could have included the new stuff.

I remember this comparison being made about a year ago. IIRC there was a really cool website in production.

Some of them look pretty cool, especially some of the vehicles.

I really like some of the vehicles. The only problem with Corps and also the Soldier force line is the lack of consistency with the retailing. Sometimes you find the figures crop up in places like Tesco's but not the vehicles. I know Smyths do some Corps but not all of it.
The Soldier force line is the same. They did some really cool vehicles like the large rocket launcher and the half track but trying to track them down is really hard. Seems really strange as I know Little Humby would happily spend his pocket money on these.

'Soldier Force' - was that by any chance an off-shoot of 'Police Squad'? Seriously though, I will have to look into them, sounds interesting.

think hes the leader of the mauraders just want the fig for the head but can only find him in an 8 pack which is too much

Ooh they look pretty cool. Will keep an eye out for them.
