Blood for the Baron!

I was Wondering whether to buy this on DVD (Its only a fiver) but wanted to know everybodies opinions on it... It looks Okay to me,
But is it better If I watch it and pretend that its just an action film and it has nothing to do with GI Joe?

It was ok but it's not really what I wanted to see. They are now saying the story was rushed due to the writer's strike so the sequel better be good. The accelerator suits were out of place and Rachel Nichols wasn't who I would have liked to see as Scarlett if she is in the sequel I hope her cheeks are less rosy looking she looked she had been slapped repeatedly.

have to say me and the boy really liked it and it holds up to repeated viewing.
its not great but nowhere near as bad as some critics made out

i f*cking love it. but, i freely admit i am probably close to the lowest common denominator. as long as it's an enjoyable 2 hours or so, i'm happy.

What Double-tap said. We both watch it from time to time. As an action flick 7/10 but as Joe goes 5/10.

Still worth a watch.

I agree 100% with chopper. Its a fun action movie but a blah Joe movie.
Also agree with Red Laser, I though the whole Accelerator suit was pointless, if they have them why wouldnt they wear them to every mission?

I can enjoy it as a Joe movie, there are so many continuities out there now it doesn't have to contradict any lore. It's not a great film but for five quid you can't go wrong.

I really loved the movie. It had a straight plot with still some small (yet very small) twists, not simple enough to bore and not complicated enough to confuse. Besides, it had very good references to the GI Joe lore ( 's ancestor, :snakeeyes: and 's past, some minor details, etc), and it had :snakeeyes: !
It had also some bad points, though, like a plot twist that ruins the character.
Still, I found it the best movie released that year.

Like the Baron says, for a fiver you can't go wrong. Forget everything you know about GI Joe and the movie is OK.
