Hello everyone, have a look at the below link.

Correct me if I'm wrong but some of those figures are GI Joe The Action Force and not just Action Force?

I only ask as I'm trying to complete my Action Force lineup and this has me puzzled. Also, is that Chuckles? Didn't think he was released in the UK?

They were all definitely still Action Force as this was when I was still buying them. I have the Steel Brigade ad on the back of my AF Monthlies.

So you could get Hardball, Chuckles, Muskrat, Spearhead & Max, Lightfoot, Charbroil, Toxo Viper, Voltar and Budo all on Action Force cardbacks?

I think I know the answer. The Hasbro Euro-Joes never changed their name from Action Force to GIJAF in Finland, Sweden, Norway and Germany. I wish I had more info on those ranges!

Chuckles was never released in the UK, but may have been in other territories...

If you look at these pictures of my spare cardbacks you will see that some are released as Action-Force, Action-Force International Heros, GI Joe The Action-Force and just GI Joe:

i think all AF era stuff was 'International Heroes' in the UK. 'GI Joe the Action Force' and 'GI Joe' were the later names

But the 1990-1993 Nordic releases were still named Action Force, I suspect that's where this flyer is from.

I had this in my watch list until I saw your post...

Then my parents arrived today with some college stuff they found and amongst it was mine from when I was a kid! Completely forgot I had it until I saw the slight beginnings of a tear which I remembered and it brought it all back to me.

I realise now I was as anal about my AF stuff then as I am now.
