Hi all,
Spent the day @ Milton Keynes today, it's the 1st time I've been to the M.K. Don's stadium it's a good venue but it seems to be missing the atmosphere the show had when it was held in the big shopping centre...seeing Storm Troopers, Daleks & other Sci-Fi/fantasy figures trolling around John Lewis's was always entertaining in itself.. ...but on the plus side you could take time out to watch the football practice.
I managed to catch a glimpse of most of the stars attending, including Patrick Stewart, but security was pretty tight on 'unauthorised' photo's & I only managed to 'sneak' a couple
Him from Red Dwarf & really poor grainy one of her from Star Trek:Voyager
As per, lots of people dressed up as Star Wars/Trek/Gate, Dr Who & (
Bad) Manga characters:
A high light, for me, was seeing the Astro-Mech droid builders guy's work in action:
& one solitary Dalek mingling amungst the crowds
Absolutely no
to be seen any where
,but I did come home with some very cheap Star Wars army builders & finally found Capt' Pike!!
Thanks for Looking
T'shot.
