I need your help!

I joined BFTB tonight to reach out across the pond and recruit some enthusiastic fans

What I need:

your honest and first instinctive reaction when asked the question
"what did you like the most/ what was yourfavorite scene or what memories immediately come up when you think about the original GIJOE cartoon movie? "
or as an alternative question:
What was your favorite quote from the original gijoe movie?"

I need just a ten/fifteen second response or less. here is the catch though, I need it as an audio file!

I plan on collecting these files and using them to create a trailer for the movie for the shout factory contest. make no mistake I have a "pro" waiting in the wings to help me.

The contest is nonprofit ( other than a prize which is something I already own) this is purely for fame and glory and you get the chance (if we win) to be on a national dvd commercial that will be used as previews on other shoutfactory dvds.
So I know I cant use all of you and will probably get some duplicate answers but thats ok.
also I know I may be taking a risk by revealing my idea but I have a real passion for this project now and I am doing it purely for the goal of including the fanbase in something possibly "big"

The opening sequence at the TerrorDrome on Cobra Island and Cobra Commander's trial and the battle for the BET prior to Cobra-La attcking the Joes are memorable to me.

the sequence showing the new Joes training with Beach Head, including Chuckles throwing a missile, Big Lob and Tunnel Rat's assault course and Law and Order finding the bomb.

guess i should have stressed that what I am asking for is for you to record this like I had just asked you in an interview: "so what is your favorite quote or moment from the original GIJOE movie"
then you would send that audio file to me and I will use it as part of the trailer.


Its only been one day and I have gotten a great response so far as volunteers, but I need as many as I can get!

This sounds like fun! Am I right in assuming you intend to overdub the original cartoon with our own voices?

Recommend you track down the UK edition of the movie for already-dreadul but hilarious overdubs, maybe you could include that as an alternate ending or something?

My webcam has a microphone, does anybody fancy posting a quick "how-to" for recording home audio snippets?

It will depend on your webcam I think Baron on my desktop pc I have an application where you can make videos and blogs but I am not sure I do with my in-built webcam on my laptop.

How I use your quote or statement all depends on what you say. Who knows I may surprise you even in how I use your quote, ideas and inspiration come to me all the time.

I have never seen/heard the version you are talking about and now I am salivating at the chance to get a copy, the dvd would have to be compatible over here in the states though.

The version of the film I have has "Yo Joe!" being shouted which half way through the film was changed to "Full Force!" It was a bit sloppy of the people doing the dvd to package it as GI Joe to put it out as it was and not go through the film to see what needed editing.
